Learn how to enhance your photos with selective edits, creating stunning visuals with Lightroom.
Highlight Your Subject
Select Subject: Begin by using the Masking tool and choosing “Select Subject.” Lightroom’s AI will automatically identify your main subject.
Invert Selection: To focus on the background, click the ellipsis (…) and select “Invert Subject Selection.” The red overlay indicates the targeted area.
Craft a Vibrant Background
Selective Adjustments: With the background masked, use Lightroom’s sliders (e.g., Color, Exposure, Saturation) to make specific edits.
